Some Things We Didn’t Like about Tag Heuer
Generally speaking, we were pleased with almost everything about this maker. However, those who are looking for a truly flashy timepiece may not find exactly what they were looking for. While these design are unquestionably elegant and fashionable as well as highly functional, those looking for precious metals and diamonds are likely to be a tad disappointed. Very few if any of the TAG Heuer designs really offer the panache and swagger that many people desire when searching for a timepiece. We still feel that the dependable elegance of these timepieces is more than enough to make them desirable, but for others this might not be the case.
History of the Brand
This company is one of the older makers from Switzerland, first manufacturing quality timepieces in 1860. From the beginning, precision has been the driving force behind this company, and as a result they were more than once instrumental in revolutionizing the way that time is kept. This was the first manufacturer to develop mens watch products that were accurate to 1/100th of a second, doing so in 1916. Thus this brand has a tradition of being far ahead of its time, which they continue to celebrate today. Since they’ve been so successful in the time piece business, this company has expanded, and now makes standard timepieces, as well as full scale timing devices, and even eyewear.
